How does acupuncture work?
Acupuncture is a branch of Chinese medicine. It originated over 3000 years ago. Its used to treat and diagnose disease and also used as a preventative measure.
Energy circulates around the body in channels called Meridians. These channels need to be free flowing. When these channels become blocked, illness may occur. Therefore acupuncture stimulates points around the body to free the meridians.
Using small sterile needles, which are disposed of after each treatment, to correct the present imbalance and maintain health and balance.
It is a Holistic approach to treatment and thus treats the mind, body and soul.
